An easy to use, cost-effective, hydraulic force calibration system that lasts for generations. Morehouse Universal Calibrating Machines (UCM) built in the 1950's, are still operating today. The Morehouse Universal Calibrating Machine can be used to calibrate instruments in accordance with ASTM E74, ISO 376, and other internationally recognized force standards.
Each kit includes one set of clevises and various pins, and can be used to calibrate numerous dynamometers and crane scales available on the market. Kits are available at 30, 60, and 120 klbf and feature:
- Capability of calibrating numerous instruments with the same clevis set
- Several pins sizes available which can be acquired individually or as a kit
- Can be used with Morehouse Quick-Change Adapters System for better load alignment and easier installation
- Rust-resistant black oxide coating on all parts
Morehouse Clevis and Pin sets have been designed using manufacturer recommended pin sizes. Using the wrong pin size can turn a 0.1 % error into a 2 % error.
Momentary Pendant Switch Upgrade
Morehouse now offers an upgrade kit for converting the stationary toggle switch in Universal Calibrating Machines into a Momentary Pendant Switch. This upgrade features:
- Better control over yoke position
- Improved ergonomics
- Upgrade kit easy to install
